The KAIST MBA program was newly launched in 2023 and aims to foster professional managers and entrepreneurs who understand new technologies and business models and lead innovation in the digital transformation era. KMBA provides the latest management theories, new technologies and business models, analysis on management issues using business analytics as well as consulting and advising on real-world company issues, enabling students to advance their knowledge and capabilities in preparation for the acceleration of digital transformation.
In addition, KAIST was selected by the Ministry of Science and ICT to operate the 'Global Data Convergence Talent Development' Project in 2024, and signed an agreement with Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in the U.S. to expand the 'Business Analytics' area of the KAIST MBA program to 'Global Business Analytics' in order to provide intensive overseas education in AI-based business applications in addition to a realistic capstone project based on global corporate data.
The KAIST MBA program offers two areas: General and Global Business Analytics. Students selected for Global Business Analytics are required to complete 18 credits at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in the first semester of their second year, with full funding for overseas education and partial funding for living expenses.
