ESS (Enviroment, Social, Startup)
KCB aims to provide advanced training regarding the identification of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) practices, and the inclusion of responsibility in the core of CSR values. Our students will be learning from the principle of stakeholder capitalism and/or shareholder capitalism through ESG issues. We hope to establish organic linkages among the three pillars, Environment, Social Responsibility, and Startups, and finally encouraging students to engage and contribute to society to create a better world and to transform our community.
K-SUS (KAIST-SUSTAINABILITY), a student activity group, aims to reduce any damaging effects on the campus environment. Activities focus on educating others on environmental social responsibilities and suggesting campaigns such as cutting down the use of paper.
KAIST Graduate School of Green Growth holds the Seoul Climate-Energy Conference (Seoul CEC) annually to discuss issues and find solutions on environmental problems that we face in globally. Seoul CEC attracts an average of 400 participants from around the world to spread environmental stewardship and fulfill corporate social responsibility.
